Bravado is low because most nations realise that Battlecrabs is all powerful, all-conquering. To boast of one owns power would inevitably leave oneself open to a future smack down from the Battlecrabs Ministry of Disinformation.

I also blame the rampant liberalism that consumes My globe for the lack of national pride. To be prideful is seen by many left-leaning nations as 'racist'. Obviously, these nations would benefit immensly from being under the watchful, lidless aegis of The Eye.

Crimmond is 4.808 billion and is a March 2003 nation. It took you 28 months to reach 5 billion. I am going to reach it three months earlier.

I doubt 'Crimmond' would be able to resist the full force of the Battlecrabian Uranium, Arms and Automobile industries pricing you out of the market. And if you somehow do resist that, well, we will have to test how your nation copes with a full frontal nuclear onslaught...

Your actions have pleased Him greatly. Your offer of trade is particually appealing. At this time, however, oil and food are plentiful in this glorious nation. However, if you are low on Uranium, or require advanced automobiles to purchase, then He will be more than happy to facilitate.

Of course, if you are having a particular problem with regards to an abusive neighbouring nation ... they can be dealt with as well, for a tidy fee.

Perhaps this 'Crimmond' should be subjected to sanctions for his illegal population increase? My sources inform me that he actually created this bug via illegal cloaning techniques. He must be punished. Harshly; brutally.

I was quite happy with a small population. Overpopulation means unemployment, and environmental harm... and a government that's petrified of upsetting the populace. Fifty million would have done. Plenty! But the population of my nation keeps growing and growing. Despite the fact that couples need a permit to procreate (and they are held responsible for juvenile offences). That ought to cool anybody's ardour!

Oh... and immigration is discouraged by a series of antipersonnel defences, where asylum seekers star in a fight-for-your-life reality TV gameshow called "Who wants to be an immigrant?"

And if they get in, we put them in a real asylum.

What more can a person do to reduce the rate of population growth? I dunno.

The Armed Forces of Battlecrabs could reduce your population growth. Sadly (for you) such an action would lead to a permenant population slump for your nation.

And 4 days later my other nation reaches 5 Billion. It aint all that special, well... maybe i'll throw a little RPed party for the celebration, just for fun.
