It is my honor to bring you the Anti Liger Alliance. For those who dont know, a liger is a male lion bred with a female tiger. The offspring look like both of the parents, and are 99% sterile. Basically, its the mule of the cat world.
We, Myself and my partner Bolshie Siski, have come together to create a great force against the combination of animals (not just lions and tigers). We believe that it is cruel to animals, and since they cannot reproduce, their only fate is death.
Many people argue that it is for the benefit of society to see how genes mix, but currently all the practices bring more harm than good. These animals do not breed in nature, so even if a disease is cured through this breeding, are we going to defy nature and create millions of ligers just so we can not be woried about one disease?
We welcome you to join us in our region, anti liger alliance, to help us spread the word about how science has gone too far this time. There is so much we can do to make our lives better, and we must let Mother Nature play the part that she was intended to play.
Ask yourself this final question. If humans become all powerful and not vunerable to any disease, what would be world be like?

Is it not that the fate of all of us is to die? As far as the human race is concerned, as well as every other living thing on this planet, death is the ultimate fate. It is inevitable, everything we do is done only to prolong it. It is called the circle of life

Forgive me if I am wrong, but wasn't it mother nature that allowed us to discover that lions and tigers were compatible in the first place. OK these tow parents were in captivity, but as they shared the same run, (with others), the inevitable happened and the liger was produced.
As I said, I could be wrong, because it was in an article I read a long time ago, but the impression of such an enormous powerful cat certainly stuck in my memory.

None of your tigers are touching any of my Lions. We have enough problems in my country with Lion-dogs. Ligers? I don't think so.

So...it can happen. It did happen. And, while I don't recommend it, from all accounts the Liger itself didn't seem to care...

Thank you for comfirming that my memory was correct. :)Do a "search" on Liger. You will be amazed at how much there is out there - and how may ligers - and tigons - you find.
