How do you get the icon below your posts in your name?

i have seen alot of nations with icons

So any helpers?

Yes, I believe he's referring to avatars.

Members are not allowed to have avatars. Although I do not know the exact reason behind this, my guess would be the immense bandwidth it would take, plus the problems associated with avatars (offensive, large, page-breaking, etc).

Another memeber can add more information to this, hopefully.

Below your posts. That's either a signature, which goes below your post, or the numerous icons (below post count) if you put your IM names into the forum. I don't think he's talking about an avatar.

Homie, do you mean the tiny things that Nanakaland and Crazy Girl have beneath their nation names? They're what he said -- Instant Messaging links. I don't know how to do them, but that's because I'm stuck in the HTML-user sandpit. I'm sure there'll be someone willing to help you do it, though.

To add screen names to your nation name (so that those little icons will appear), click on "Profile" at the top left corner on the screen, in the forums, then click on "Edit Profile". Under "Optional Information - All information will be viewable by other forum members", you can add your screen names for whatever instant messenger system you have. Then click on "Save Changes", and you're done!
