What would you be looking for in a region? (size, Role-playing, region-crashing/defending, certain tendancies or themes or policies, etc)
There are many good places, but it really depends on what you're looking for.
If you are interested, then you could try Lemuria. Its where I keep my main nation, and its a very friendly place. We have a University on our forum, where any NS player can come in and learn about most of the aspects of gameplay. We have flag making, map making, defending, invading, statecraft, Role play, an UN affairs. If you decide you dont want to move to Lemuria, at least take a look at http://s4.invisionfree.com/Lemuria/index.php?act=idx.
Also, you dont have to move regions, you can get involved in the RR if you want.

Recently my old region became rather crappy and i was forced to find anew home.
So i made a post such as yours, and i got a reply, teaching me about the wonders of the Tradelands!
Tradelands is heavily into roleplaying, are pro-capitalism, and have no general political leaning that we enforce on anyone.

it depends on what you are looking for.
roleplay, united nations discussions, issues discussions, invasiongame (invaders and defenders), regional politics...this game has several ways of playing it :D

Since this has become something of a regional advertisement thread ... if you are looking for a region that is active in the UN, starting to work on regional roleplay (limited ... good for beginners), somewhat involved with International Incidents via the UN, very active in the feeder region politics, and composed of centrists and liberal capitalists, then I highly recommend the International Democratic Union.

Out of the 99 UN resolutions, IDU authors have successfully passed __7__ UN resolutions! Though the feeder regions can claim greater numbers, I think you'll really enjoy our region if you are looking for a relative safe place to hang out and just chat with others. :)
Every quarter we elect a new Delegate, and we try to get everybody involved in only what they want to try out.

Clearly, Calm Minds, you are looking for my region. Greater California. It has 15 members, and a Regional Senate. Thus far, the Senate has two nations (Including myself), but I'm working on boosting membershi. You will have the chance to have a say in what goes on, I'm working on setting up some RPing (role playing), and all that good stuff. SO, move to GREATER CALIFORNIA!

The region of Lorien is lus and green and you pretty much have all the freedom you want. All the nations work together when it comes to the UN - very friendly atmosphere but close-knit and personal.
