Greetings all!

I just joined the UN, and was wondering if resolutions passed before I joined affect my nation. For instance, I noticed a couple in there dealing with re-forestation, and my new country has a tree shortage problem. Will trees be replanted now due to these UN resolutions already passed or will a new enironmentally focused item have to pass in order for my country to see the benefits?

My understanding is no, Only those that pass whilst you are a member effect your nation.

So if one is going to pass that you dont like then you resign before and rejoin after and it has no effect on your nation.
