UN: resigning one puppet, entering another.

I just had a puppet of mine resign from the UN. Is there a minimum time I should wait before entering another puppet, or can I go straight ahead and have the puppet submit an application?

(I didn't know exactly where to post this thread, so I put it here. feel free to move this if you need to, mods :) )

Well, unlike UN registration which takes time, it appears that withdrawing from the UN is an immediate thing. At least, I've never had problems with accidentally multi-ing when switching my UN puppets around. As long as you only have one nation in the UN at any given time, it should be OK.

This is no official answer and I may be incorrect. I hope not, though.

SB is essentially correct. Although it's generally a good idea to wait 12 - 24 hours before applying so as to avoid any false positives on the mod's UN cheatscan. Or so I hear from the mods, anyway.

i thought that was old already, goobs?

you can even apply with another email adress, so you got an application (as long as you don't click the link in the email your nation isn't UN, so this isn't a multi). then you can resign your one UN nation (wait a few hours for safety) then click the link for the other. do keep in mind UN applications only stay valid for a few days at maximum.

if you reapply with the same email address, make sure you resigned your puppet, or your application gets rejected (this also might happen if you resign and immdiatly apply, so if you use the same email, better to wait 15-30 minutes maybe..

now, shouldn't this be in moderation or tech? ;)

should prob be in tech. i did similar recently. i reapplied a new one after resigning a puppet, same email addy, and i did it a couple hours after. it usually takes about 24 hours for your admittance to be cleared anyway, so u should be safe
