Someone once said that s/he would give a present or something to the first one who would kick the regional happenings spammers from their region. Were I the first one? I didn't catch them all but four is something, right?

I'm sorry if the people behind those nations know who I am and partly came for that. If you would really know yours truly you would know how I hate spamming. Because you most likely don't know me, this message is also a plea to you to stop the spamming. It's not fun to look the regional happenings of small regions because the chances are that some of the hoppers have spammed all other nation-moving from the history. Personally I find it more interesting to see which random nations have visited the region in the past in case the name is interesting enough to be contacted by telegrams.

While technically you might not be spamming, you have to understand that not all the regions - with maybe less than 5 nations - are fond to your effective erasing procedure of the happenings. Within 24 hours some of you spammed one of my regions' happenings completely. Now I have no idea who visited in that region so I can't talk with them by telegrams.
Can't you at least jump around in seperate days?

Did these four nations move to your region and spam the regional message board? If so, you can report this as spamming, to the moderators.

No, the problem isn't the CHQ but the Regional Happenings spam. The hard-core scripted/manual hoppers are almost completely decent enough not to spam the civil HQs.
For instance, if a team of three of them moves around within a day they manage to spam the RH of the region in question by moving in and out, making 6 entries out of 10 just by themselves. In couple weeks one or more hoppers jump through effectively clearing any record of "normal" nations who have stayed in the region in the past. If you have a region where you have only few nations you begin to look more closely the nations who stop by when you have the time.

Basically, I'm just venting out and giving my two cents of the spam that isn't officially spam because I prefer to see the regional happenings full of data - data of random nations who stop by, die or move to Lazarus upon resurrection, not some 5-10 regular hopper nations moving around.

BTW, by "one of my regions' happenings" I didn't mean Some Homeless Nations' Regional Happenings but of other region's I have.

Invaders cannot spam the regional happenings with puppets to cover their tracks, you can move 1 puppet with you though.

Unless the rules of this type of spamming have changed, this is considered illegal.

It's listed in that thread, under "What Invaders Can't Do."

Apples aren't picked when water melons are done, region hoppers aren't invaders.

EDIT:
Because I don't want to post my region's RH I found one, not the classic case but gives you a clue about what kind of spam it is. Captian Kangaroo hops too much in and out for the ideal case.

Whether you are an invader or not (I should have clarified that), doing so is still spamming.

Sorry to necropost, but I apologise for that.

Once I realised what was happening I removed the script from this account.

I won't start it up again until I can guarantee that CK won't enter a region whilst he is still on the Regional Happenings.

Well, if you really really hate region hoppers, just use a password, and annonce in the region factbook that you will give it to any friendly nation interested to join your nation.

That way you will jkeep interested players to come to your region. Someone to lasy to ask for a pasword will probably not be very active if he had moved to your region anyway. and that will stop radically region-hoppers to ome to your region.

And dont worry, friends, if everithing fails, you cant still build a giant and massive wall all around your region ( but be carefull on rainy days... )

Or put a note in the Factbook: Region hoppers please skip. I know they aren't trying to bother people, and would almost certainly obey such a request.

It's rather hard for an autpmated script to read and understand...
At least, assuming some of the regionhoppers are script as it seems.
