I'd like to know too! :) On a guess, I'd imagine that it was first in, first ranked, when the server was updating the UN Delegates.

The above is a list of 18, mostly active, different nations (few puppets there). What is interesting is the following ranks:

11. The Republic of Adam Island (44,280)
12. The Empire of Keeslandia (44,281)
13. The Holy Empire of Kanine Crusaders (44,282)
14. The Borderlands of Eldyism (44,283)
15. The Democratic Republic of Dee Dee Ramone (44,284)
16. The Constitutional Monarchy of Malabra (44,285)
17. The Community of Sober Thought (44,286)
18. The Republic of Domnonia (44,287)

These nations have vastly different tax rates, vastly different UN Categories, vastly different ages, and without digging into their XML feeds, I can't find a common theme that would basically place them all at rank #11 in our region.

There is really no difference, and obviously the chances of 8 nations in a 18-member nation region all being side-by-side indicate that the game server assigns ranks one region at a time.

The IDU forum has the daily listings for most of the UN polls from early last fall (Oct or Nov). If you look around you can probably use the data to pull together some interesting stats.

Unfortunately, depending when my nation was on a war footing or not, I've changed my systematic bias in answering the daily issues. Sometimes I want cops and a big military, other times I don't. I've even picked what I believe to be anti-environmental issues from time to time (though rarely).

p.s. if you have a UN nation, please take the time to take the survey's that are listed in my signature. I want to have a large population set to make the results meaningful! :)
