I'm wondering if anyone here happens to know of a good program to generate a country's map. Not that good with any type of paint program, you see, and I'm hoping there's a nice program that can generate something for my nation. :)

Try this one - it took a little searching but I found it.

It runs out of its own folder - no need to actully instally it - just unzip.
It generates a random landmass and lets you set the water level, type of terrain, add city markers and labels - an so forth. When you're done - just hit the 'Print Screen' Button to copy it to your clipboard and then paste it into Paint or whatever you want.

This one lets you add roads and rivers, and specify town size, but it works best with hexes, and you'll need to use the Print Screen button to save.
