I've been wondering, how would you declare war? I think i have a pretty good idea, but I'd like other people's input too. Thanks.

When it comes to declaring war, and everything along those lines, they are all roleplayed. There is no 'official' way of declaring war so that it will actually effect the game/your population. If you ever get to the point of declaring war on a nation, it is strongly suggested that you state your reasons for doing so, and what the other nation has done to provoke such an action.

Good Example:

The nation of Euroslavia has officially declared war upon the nation of Sibyllam, due to their support for terrorists and their actions within my nation. (Provide exampes here, and include threads for evidence)

Bad Example:

I declar war on Sibyllam just because I can!!!!1111OMG :mp5:

I suggest you read this thread: Guide To Nationstates (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=357975), to get more familiar with things around here, as well as other stickies in the Nationstates and International Incidents forums.

What exactly do you mean by 'real warfare'?
If you mean war that'll affect your national description/population/etc, then yes, that's probably not going to happen (but it's likely for NS2).
