I've just started playing this game and I wonder how i can get larger without warfare? I have only 5 million inhabitants in my nation, wich is not much...

Your population increases over time. Nothing affects population growth, it just continues on its merry way at a steady rate. I believe at some point it takes a jump to growing faster, but I'm not sure when that is.

You got to have patience. Rome wasn't built in a day. *cliché warning!* People take time to multiply, you know. Good luck growing! (I ain't so big myself!)

was about 500 million for me. when it got to about 1.5 billion it stopped and has been going sooo slowly lately :(

Right, don't take my word as some kind of gospel on this...

I think the growth rates are:

5-10 million: 1 million per day

10-1 billion: 5-7 million per day (this appeared to be variable)

1 billion plus: 10 million per day (completely unfounded, and I may be talking out of somewhere that isn't my mouth, but I recall hearing it.)

Get bigger?

Play basketball.. well thats taller. Sideways... buy some of those protein & get fat shakes.

Plus you want to get bigger nicely and evenly,.. so you might need to hit the gym.

Or you can get bigger like me.. by eating lots of potato chips and slouch at the couch all day. Thats another way.

I get a lot of spam each day giving advice on how to get bigger and ejaculate more. I could redirect some to you if you wish.

I have to say the growth rate declines as your population gets bigger, not increases.

War doesn't affect your population in the actual game.

You start out at 5/6/7 million, grow by 1 million until 10 mill, grow by 2 until 20, by 3 until 32, 4 until 40, and 5 until 50... then you get random growth between 5 and 7 million a day.
