Mine aint nuttin special but i think it is dern nifty...i doubt you can read the writing on the bottom...but just so you know it is Tengwar (Tolkiens Elven Scrit) and it says "Armed Republic of Dryniar" but it might as well say "I am a nerd ph3@r m3..."

At the time that I made my flag yes. i didnt know what my country would stand for or any of that junk, plus being busy as hell and sick didnt help the creative process.

Of all the many, many flags flying over the numerous and diverse nations in this land, I find it hard to choose which flag should actually be deemed to 'coolest'. I do see where many nations have proclaimed their own banners to be the best. I am not suprised to see such, as in order to have a strong nation, the people must believe they are considered of the best quality. That would hold true for their flags as well, I think. VulcanFriedChicken's Flag is humorous, there is no doubt, and so are many others, suggesting the leaders of a multitude of nations must then have a wonderful sense of humor and possess fine creativity. When the Free Land of Mother Wit was deciding on just the right icons, colors and such for her own flag, she did so with the hopes of creating a symbol of the strength and beauty that her nation would hope to always retain, to allow her and her people a rightful place among the 'coolest' nations in the land. We are terribly proud of the banner that waves over our lush forests, and its people. And we feel our own flag is very cool.
On a further note...considering creativity, as well as humor and the like to be some of the yardsticks for measuring 'coolness' of any one nation...perhaps we might also then look at the mottos each nation holds most dear, according to their listing within the world's list here. Just a thought, but I find those proofs of individuality equally amusing and/or interesting, when looking over the other nations in the land.

What I tend to see with some nations' flags, is how shoddily they've been put together. To put it crudely and blunt, it's as if things've been put together in MS-Paint with minimal effort, with the outlines of some pasted images still present against a clashing background. Worse yet, some don't bother at all, just taking the 'purdy' image of some wolf or tiger and call it a day.
However, it's heartwarming to see there are enough people still bothering with their nation's representing flag :)

Why not? I could literally take a piss on a piece of cloth, hang it from a flagpole, and as long as it's recognized by the country's (group/city/state/whatever) government, it's the flag.

I like flags that are simple and to the point and have some relevance to the country's name. I know mine isn't the best ever, but it gets the point across
