Hi everyone, join my new region: Heian Japan.
Here's a description:
The Japanese Empire as it was in the Heian-period (794-1185). The capital is Heian-kyo (Kyoto). The Emperor rules by divine right, but is largely under the influence of the clans, especially Fujiwara. Buddhism is the state-religion. The provinces do as they please, for the government doesn't much care about its outlying regions, though any assistance is given when asked for.
The Emperor issues commands at the discretion of the states (clans) that make up the Empire.
All are welcome to join. There's lots of opportunities for RPing, shaping the Empire (it's still relatively small, though not for long ;) ) and, well, playing the game however you like it best.

2) Type "Heian Japan" in the box "Find Region"
3) Click the "move [Your Nation] to Heian Japan today" link
4) Done! You're a part of the Japanese Empire now!

Although I am not here to join your region, as I have my own personal region, I am here to provide an alliance with the NorthWestern Desert. Please tell me if you will accept or not.

So are we gonna do anything special with this alliance or just "keep it in mind" so to speak?

Usually, an alliance is just asthetics. But sometimes, in the forums someone offends you, for instance, you can call upon allies or such to help you, even if no one else does.

Other than that, your region's name is posted on my factbook.
