Recently, my government gained the 'corrupt' trait. Which is kinda ironic since its a benevolent dicatorship.
Anyway, I took a look at NSEconomy, and I see that government waste is around $5 trillion. I have a feeling thats the souce of the corruption, no? If so, then how would I reduce it? Spend more money on the different departments to increase expenditures so it will just about equal budget? Or what?
Thanks in advance, fellow NSers

"Corrupt" is one of those traits that those of us who were into Gameplay know little about, or knew little about before the Jolt move anywhen.
I would guess that corruption has to do with the size of the government, and the economic freedom allowed thence theinfluence of money in the government, but I'm not entirely certain.
When I attempted to root out corruption, I did so by both curtailing government size, and curtailing economic excesses. Basically, if both the Libertarian Party and the Socialist Party would oppose it, then it probably leads to corruption.

Several of the issues add "corrupt" to your nation's description if you pick the corrupt option. If you want to reverse this the only one I know of is to pick opt. 2 on issue #17. However this also adds 1% tax and trashes your economic and political freedom ratings so you might want to consider how badly you want removal. There may be some other issues, too, but I don't know which ones they are.
