If you think you are the oldest nation, please post your population on this thread.

I believe Maxtopia was the oldest nation...but is no longer a nation.

Praetor has the largest population, but that is due in part to the ancient population bug on top of the fact that Praetor is also very old.

I'm upwards of 4 billion and happy with where I am...but I'm by no means the largest or oldest.

Sadly, most of the people who had nations from Back In The Day let them lapse or lost interest in the game altogether; heck, this one I created after I had made a different one a few weeks prior, which I eventually just let get idle purged around January last year. Kind of regretting it now. Also regretting not getting in on the population bug that everyone was talking about for a while. :D

You still are one of the oldest nations still here...a full 4 months older than me

i am still a reletively young nation. but you cant determand a naitons age by its population. a nation will grow much faster if a country illiglizes abortion, compaired to a nations that has voted on the issue of mandatory population control
I have had harrylandia for 2 years now and it only has 2 billion peple because i put mandatory population control and leagilized the bloodlusting cult (see issue #44)

Actually, the nation of Last Hope, if it's still around, is the oldest surviving nation. The reason it shows up as Thomasia is that Last Hope got deleted and resurrected a while back.

Issues do NOT effect population growth. Nations grow one and two million when new, then it kicks up to five to eight million after a while. Population will grow on vacation mode, but will not if the nation has died.

Looks like you either misremembered the date, or it died and was resurrected.

They recently had a UN report on this. Can't remember who was top, but had a population of about 5 billion.
