Fellow delegates,

I am constantly annoyed by the vast numbers of identical and near identical flags amongst our member states, I'd like to see some action to try and rationalise and to recognise the artistry of great flags like umm ah yes well our own for example.

If action is not taken soon surely we'll end up being confused as to which team to route for on the battle field or worse we might start attacking the wrong side like the americans always do.

OOC: I actually like seeing other Estonian flags in use. One Estonian actually telegrammed me and we chatted about his country for some time. But when it has come time for endorsements, I've found the other blue / black / white flag bearing nations have actually been extremely responsive to my requests for support. My point is you might be wrong in assuming that there is not a reason for us (players) choosing similar flag colors.

Now there was a time I had modified Estonia's flag by placing a grey cross similar to the Swiss Confederation's cross on the flag as well, and while I liked it, I found that simplier flags make nicer small icons and figured that Miervatian troops would probably benefit from the smaller flag. Again, I imagine many of us can justify why we choose certain flags.

When the Goontopians were around (remember them back in Sept?) one of the ways a few of us were able to spot Goons was by their flag themes. Prior to that the Pirates of the Pacific used flags to send warning messages to regions they were invading.

While a well done flag is a nice thing, players often have reasons (some of them personal) for picking their flags.

Be a little bit more specific here. Just what is it that you want?

He wants people to use more 'specific' flags for their nations.

Quit ur bellyaching. Not everyone has nor wishes to spend the time making a custom flag. Also, why is this under UN?>

People are just lazy. There's nothing you can do about it.

Mine is Poland's. I'm Polish by heritage, so it has meaning to me. So ya shouldn't judge everyone b/c they don't make a flag of their own.

All the Gay flags look good.

I think Swastika's should be allowed think of all the Hindu's.
Are people allowed the USSR's flag?

Ive got Rumania's but my flag if i ever get round to making it would kick arse.

As long as I look at the nation's name instead of it's flag, I think I won't get confused. ;)
