Endorse a region by "looking" at that region (choose that one from the region list). Somewhere on the page, there's an option to endorse that nation. The cool thing is that when it comes to voting on resolutions, the UN delegate gets an extra vote for each endorsement received. So if all (unique) countries endorse a person, we get more say (relatively speaking - I've seen 300+ countries in a region!!!).

From the journal Emerging Trends in Biology. A group of scientists at the University of Krioval, Valak, have determined the function of several genes that are responsible for the latent and operant psionic tendencies of the Kriovalian population. The genes, called PsiX, PsiQ, PsiV and VarX, play a role in generating localized hypermutations, which are then either deleted to maintain organismal stability or enhanced to ultimately give rise to a specific power. Not a problem at all! I'm actually the regional founder (as if you didn't already know that by now!) and the main roleplayer in the region. Basically, we've only got twelve people in the region (with a couple duplicates) and some new nations would make it fun. And the population rises pretty fast anyway. I joined at the end of Jan 2005 and I'm over 200 million.

Have you considered joining the UN? (OK, fine, that was a shameless plug for me to get more votes as delegate, I admit it! :D )

It's not easy, since they shift position twice a day (when the old ones are deleted). Maybe I can start posting them to the region board directly. Of course, if Dat's our new delegate by consensus, then I won't be the one doing this any more.

Boring! One lapsed proposal tabled. Nothing new and interesting seems to be coming down the pike lately, but let me know if you see something I missed.

Bit more interesting today - one active proposal tabled, one tabled proposal reactivated, and two replicate-repeal proposals approved.

My royal-spouse-to-be created Monodominant, but decided he didn't like the name. So the nation is inactive and should retire in about 28 days I think.

A proposal has actually reached quorum - we will be voting on the Natural Disaster Act shortly. Also, a proposal was tabled, and one proposal is listed as "interesting" but I am currently withholding approval pending more convincing language from its proposer (or tons of interest from the region).

I approved one new proposal, then threw a fit because most of the other proposals on the list were either total crap or had a kernel of an argument completely voided either by a categorization error, incredibly poor grammar, or the proposal was well-worded and organized only to be attached to an utterly screwed-up title. So I declined to table proposals, instead flinging them into the flames of Hades with all the fury I could muster. My lust for destruction thus sated, I wrote this post. This is why I should never look at the proposal list at midnight, though keep in mind this was after the illegal proposals were just culled, and there were only 17 pages instead of the normal 21. My eyes hurt now.

NSUN Mind Control Act has lapsed from the proposals list due to lack of support, and has been filed "tabled".

Repeal "Required Basic Healthcare" has been approved (but still lacks support for a floor vote). This does not indicate a desire on my part to undermine healthcare, but in fact a resolution called "RBH [Required Basic Healthcare] Replacement" also exists. Several nations wish to simply delete the irrelevant replicate.
