Hey, i'm just a newbie at this, but it's a cool site. My only problem is, is it just me or are their two many cystom reagons with stupid names? I scrolled through about 7 pages of just 0000000000039832109821 ect. Any good regons any could recomend?

That's normal. We're a creative lot here (or lack it sometimes).

No, the problem here is that anyone can make a region, at any time, without any cost.
So, naturally, everyone wants one.

Thats the one problem witht the region system. It's really hard to find the top class regions (like mine - Revelation Space - for example!) among all the weird ones. I'd really like to see a regional category search system, where regions declare themselves liberal/right-wing/FT whatever, and then the search function would sweep them out. (But that should be in technical)

not all regions would fall into a particular catorgory though surely? my firiend started one and then invited a few of us in to jion him in this game and in his region, we all have wildly different countries, the region is what you might call "potentially explosive" :)

What about several of 'free for all' options. Kinda like a combination of various different attributes. For example if you wanted a region that rated itself high on political freedoms (on the whole) but weren't bothered about anything else, then it would eliminate 'authoritarian' regions.
