[(Non-mod) It doesn't work for me either, so I went to the UN page and picked the first nation I saw (assuming that it was a new nation). Here's the datafeed for that nation (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/nationdata.cgi/nation=Fluffyleader), which says it was founded two days ago. It looks to me like that feature only works for newer nations. --Felix, nonmod]

It tells you when you were created in your profile here on the forums. I think you can get that info for any nation regardless of age.

As far as I know, since your forum account automatically creates itsself when you join NS, that should be the date you joined NS.

Easy if you didnt change settings. You get 1 million people or so per issuse. If you answer an issuse a day divide population by 1 million.

[I know this; I thought poster was looking for a way to find the age of a nation using the game's XML datafeed, here: < http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/nationdata.cgi/nation=Konania >. Looks like the issue's been solved, but maybe someone should look into it :/ --Felix]

There is no correlation between issues, or the amount of issues you recieve, and population growth. Population grows at 1 million a day when you are new, then goes up to 5-8 million a day.

It is just that when you reach the larger population, the game decides randomly whether to give you 5 or 8 mil. per day, or is it randomly decided every day?

It varies between five and eight million each day. One day you could get five and the next you could get eight. That's why you could have two nations created on the same day a few seconds a part have different populations.

I'm sure there's some kind of a formula to decide how much the population goes up each day but it's probably a state secret. :p
