The current name of my nation begins with "Democratic Republic", however, I have noticed other nations that have different beginnings that are not choosable in the Settings.

For example: "The Tax Free Paradise", "The Indomitable Borderlands", "The Publicly Traded Police State", "The Holier-than-thou Empire", "The Trans-National Exchange".

So, I was wondering, how can mynation have one of these prefixes. How are the obtained, or chosen? Thank you.

You can have a custom title when your population reaches 500 million.

Wait. The little peeps breed by themselves. I don't know if the population increase gets more rapid at some point, though. I'm only at 9 million meself.

You start out at 5 million, grow by 1 million until 10 mill, grow by 2 until 20, by 3 until 32, 4 until 40, and 5 until 50... then you get random growth between 5 and 7 million a day.

There ya go.

Some nations however, grow a lot faster after 14 million.

When you start at 5 million (6 or even 7 back in the day) you gain 1 million until hit the 10 million. After than you get 5 or 6 million a day. Getting to 500 just requires patience, there's no way to speed up the citizen count by issues or other things.

Does your population ever shrink? I heard that in that Issue about the sacrifices, if you choose to sacrifice every firstborn child, your population plummets. Is that true?

Kzuu Mai - If I recall correctly, The Most Glorious Hack once stated quite clearly that populations are never affected by issues.
