Now, what exactly would make this Region any better for you to choose over another. Heck, there's plenty of loverly regions to choose from. Gotta love the freedom of choice. We as a region, however, can offer a few things.
One is that new nations have an immediate voice to shape the region with. Another is the ‘Ten Earths’ concept were currently building on. It’s the same as the Earth versions in the NS forums, except we have decided on ten interconnected worlds via Gates. This may sound of fancy, but we’re seriously going to make this work, which means plenty of space to claim an ‘rp’ territory of your own. After all, our hallmark is Role-play to the core. Three, we have an active UN discussion and debate, as well as an active off site forum to conduct it on.
As a former member of Texas for a few weeks, I saw the end result of the dedication the core members of that region had for over a year of work. The fact that it's a good power for the betterment and defense of regions is a strong model for our Region to imitate.
What we need is nations that ‘want’ to voice themselves, and add to the flavor of the region as a whole. This ‘isn’t’ just my region, but for ALL members to make their own. The last thing I want is to control everything the region does, and the more nations that join, the more others can govern the way this Region works.
This Region is to stay. The more nations that help it grow, the more 'all' it's members can say they belong to a strong region.
And most of all, this is aimed at new members that want to feel they make a difference on NationStates. As far as this author is concerned, even a newborn nation can make a difference. This is the most important item I want to stress: ‘All new nations have a voice!’
But finally, we don't beg for new nations, as much as this sounds otherwise, we simply ask you take a look, and if so, move on to another choice.
But if you stay, you ‘will’ have a voice in this Region.
