i rad the FAQ and all and searched around a little but have not found what i want.
i started a new region florencia with my friend and want to know how to get people to join it and all the good stuff. also are there any real advantages to haveing your own region?

now that i have a region how do we "elect" UN officaials and such?

im lost

as far as I know, the only advantage of haveing ur own region would be in the UN, it really doesn't affect RP. so if all u do is RP, u might as well, join this region, "the Holy Empire of Rome"

your not suppposed to aks people already in their own region to join you

the only real advantage UN delegates have is to get extra votes from endorsements and they can vote for UN propositions that will be open to vote for by all UN members...
aka - I see a good proposition, like, lets say, ban abortion. so i say yes lets give it a push, and if it has a certain number of delegate's votes, it will go on to be voted for by all UN nations

trial and error told me this, so you should try new stuff out

Because of course banning abortion is a wonderful idea. Up the misery for teenagers whose contraception doesn't work, yay![/sarcasm]

Anyway, social opinions aside, other than my little grumble at the top I agree with Andmerica's statement.

Although I do think that having your own region can be entertaining, as you can use to keep friends up to date with alliance happenings (if you run one), or just to give more info about your nation/s.

these are good places to watch your econ settings, the top one requires a region other then the starting ones, because if a region is too big, it won't do stats, but the other one will, I believe.

These are good if you plan on RPing and buying things at storefronts, or for defending that you can do something or how many weapons, jets, etc you can have and maintain.

Storefronts will say a lot of the times what econ place they use.

There is war... but posting like that isn't going to get you recognised as a good poster. Which you need for war.
