Do you have what it takes? (Fantasy/RP Region)

Years of peace have been interrupted by tragic events.
War, famine, disease, and death, reminiscent the Four Horsemen, run rampant like a terrible plague across this world. Demonic armies threaten to engulf the earth with flame in the name of a dark god, while kingdoms and empires clash for dominance. Dragons, who were once rare and thought of as a myth by most, are now reappearing across the world, and the reclusive elves, who once celebrated peace, must now prepare for war. Humanity buckles under itself in the maelstrom of battle, and the drow plot in their ever constant bid to destroy all life for their evil goddess. The stout and dauntless dwarves must prepare against an onslaught that may very well destroy them, and the gates of a majestic sea empire that have stood undefeated for centuries may very well fall. And at the eye of this storm, a strange order calling itself the Unseen Eye claims to manipulate these events.

Battles will be waged.
Heroes will rise and fall.
Chaos will reign supreme.
This is Kytin (http://s4.invisionfree.com/kytin/index.php?) .

Do you have what it takes to survive?

All you need to do is make or move a fantasy themed nation to the NationStates region of Kytin, and then register on the Kytin boards. You don't need a password to get into the region.

*Bump*

Come now, I know there are players out there who are at least inclined at playing elven characters. Just visit. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to stay.

Have a good day.

When you say fantasy based nation, I take it you are refering to the idea behind the nation, like in your own private fluff? Because I haven't gotten a choice when I created my nation(s) between fantasy and real world. As for your idea, it sounds like fun. I've always thought that power word kill has more flair than a 10 megaton nuke. It's the personal touch I think.

Indeed. The atmosphere is fantasy, and all that which it entails. That means you will not be seeing techocyber gadgets, machine guns, nuclear arsenals, tanks, etc.

And yes Phil, I'm going to maintain this thread until we get at least two other people. Unless, the mods decide to intervene. *shrug*

Uzekeil, your nation on NS can't be fantasy, no. But on our forums you can make it into whatever fantasy race you like. The only real connection to NS that it has is that it spawns from a nationstates region and we use some of the stats like economy and such. Come check out the forums if you're interested. We have added some new features that offer many types of roleplaying opportunities.

This seems really cool. I'd love to join. Does your nation's population play any role in the fantasy setting?

Is it ok if the nation I joined into the region has a different name from my nation in the game?
