I'm just in the process of writing one. It's called 'supreme'. I was just wondering if anybody else has given this a thought.

Mine has many national anthems, just check out homestarrunner.com :cool:

Here is my current anthem, I've used about 5 :P

National Anthem (Changes frequently) (adapted from "The Dolphin's Cry" and "Overcome" by "Live)

Historically Republics do not have national anthems.

The US did not have one until the modern olympic games for example.

Therefore the people of the United States of Endorak will stick to their true Republican beliefs and have no national anthem.

Here's the national anthem of San Verdi, sung to the tune of 'Oh What A Feeling' from Flashdance, with the third verse generally considered optional as it is in contravention of UN laws against racial vilification :rolleyes:, and also in English and Italian, the two main languages of San Verdi, although Verdish and a bizarre dialect of English called Cockney is spoken in parts.

I'm considering to write a national anthem of my own. Currently, we use the melody of the "Deutschlandlied" (a.k.a. "Deutschland über alles").

Ghargonians don't have music. At all. So no national anthem, either. Which is a shame, 'cause it would be fun to create a totally psychopathic national anthem.

It's funny you ask this question, I was just thinking about that same thing this morning - while reading Jennifer Government! HA!

My song now is in the process of being made, but it's going to be called "Beyond the Heavens". I don't know whether to put it to the tune of the Final Fantasy theme song (the piano piece in the beginning of the game, it's called 'Zanarkand' on the soundtrack), or that really good song by that girl..grr...I forgot her name...Nina Gordon, I think..."Tonight and the Rest of My Life"....anywho...yeah...good question!

The EU should adopt Europe's "The Final Countdown" as an anthem immediately. The Euro-pop-cheesiness is above Double-Stilton or Rouchfort on the scale!!

Mmmmh. National anthem. Cool idea... should be in Quenya for Aeruillin probably. I'll get to writing it asap. :)

In defferance to our colonial heritage which, after a bloody war for independance, has made the Grand Duchy of Karas a wealthy and diverse nation, the Grand, Esteemed, and Funkadelic Parliament has, at the request of the President for Life Plus Two Weeks's armed thugs, voted unamiously to steal the National Anthem of the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen.

Our national anthem is that track composed entirely of silence...cant remember its name, but you can really hear the ambience of that white piano.

Gets the peasants' spirits up.

My national anthem would definantly have to be Drowining Pool: Let the Bodies Hit the Floor!, followed by Disturbed: Down with the Sickness. I'd prefer to put a Ramstein song up for national anthem, maybe the techno remix of Du Hast, but I have no idea what there saying so I wont risk it.

As our country is a republic, we don't have an OFFICIAL national anthem, but there is this, sung by many people of our great land.
