Sol Sector

Sector 001, referred to as Sol Sector, is at the heart of an interstellar alliance of planetary governments and colonies. The members of Sol Sector are organized under the unifying goals of peaceful coexistence, science, exploration, and mutual defense. Its territory encompasses several dozen sectors in both the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, spread across 8,000 light-years.

The Government is organized as a republic, where the member planets form semi-autonomous districts. Authority is delegated to the Federation Council.
