Do you want the way of the invader to die forever!? Regioncrashing is a vital part of the game and it could die forever if you don't do something about it! Join The DEN and endorse their leaders! Return the power to where it belongs!

Uh... people want region-crashing to end. It's been against the rules for quite some time now (Correct me if I'm wrong), and it generally spoils the game for everyone else.

It says its legal in the FAQ. And TITO invaded them and I'm not seeing any repercussions.

"Can I invade other people's regions?

Yes. The practice of "region crashing," where a group of nations all move to a region with the aim of seizing the UN Delegate position, is part of the game. Certain groups within NationStates are particularly adroit at this, and can attack very quickly."

It depends on whether or not you go further, however...

"Once I've taken over a region, can I eject everyone else?

No. Region crashing by itself is a legitimate tactic to seize power, but ejecting large numbers of nations is griefing. It can be a fine line between region crashing and griefing. Players who enjoy launching invasions should take care to stay on the right side."

I was confusing the two. However, region-crashing is still a pretty foul thing to do to any region just for the sake of it.

Yes, but it is legal.

I agree with Dregruk. I think we should distinguish between regional invasion and region crashing. It is something like the difference between an ooc and ic insult. A regional invasion usually has reason and purpose, and sometimes (gasp) actual IC motivations. Region crashing is just a foul act of griefing, and shouldn't be tolerated.
