hi guys,

I just started the game and I was looking for a region to join where the people believe are liberal, Democratic and Socially Oriented.

All I see in these regions is a huge amount of nations who only care for making money and not for their own people. I do not want to see my nation a member state of such regions if possible.

If someone could recommend some regions for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know of any regions but my nation appears to be heading toward Socialism. Does that help?. It's in the west Pacific.

How does being liberal make you more caring for your people. All you are doing is enabling. :)

You might want to look into joining the United Alliance of Progressive States (UnAPS) and joining its region, Haven. Telegram the nation of Edolia, our Director of Membership.

Well, most of the people in Square World (my region) are inclined towards Centre/Left... Oh, and don't mind my Dictatorship, I'm currently rebuilding from a Civil War. We'd like to have you around!

Please take a look at our region. You can look it up under BookCrossing. Most of us are leaning toward the left. Ignore my nation, it's confused at the moment, lol. It thinks is't a dictatorship, but that's because I've only been playing 5 days.

Or there's The Liberal Media, oft-demonized though they are. Mostly they just have flamewars with The Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.

The proletariat coalition (sp?). It's the largest left-wing region in the world, with over 350 members.

Over in the Cascadia region, there's a small bunch of tolerant anarchy-leaning states. Maybe not so much left as all directions and none... I've just joined myself and I like the neighbourhood. But could use some livening up. And apparently the beer is really good there...
