Stupid question - But how do you trade/commit acts of war etc. I see people 'trading' in the forums - but there is no option to trade anything, or so i have seen.

Perfect. You say your nation has fruit...and then someone looking for fruit asks for your fruit. Then you say you gave them fruit and took their money. You just did a trade. You took too much money, now they're angry. They say they declared war on you, and sent some aircraft carriers to your seacoast. Now you're doing a war.

It's all about role-play; I'd suggest reading through the Stickies and observing the International Incidents and NationStates forums to learn more about it and how it's conducted on NationStates as a whole.
