Well, I wanted to create my own region, and since I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy VIII and I knew it probably hadn't been used, I used Galbadia.
As for the name of my nation, it's pronounced how it looks:
Pih-card-em-pee-see-e-ah. PIcaRDMPCia.
