Hello!

I would like to know how I can lower my Tax rate in my nations.
I have 3
Commonwealth of Meritocratic Australia
Peoples Republic of Amren
Meritocratic Argentina

I hardley ever get sent a Budget Time:Accountants Excited Thread. Infact ive only been sent it twice since I have started playing!
It's not really fair because I dont have any real control over my own Tax Rate.

Considering you have 3 nations, getting Budget Time twice is quite a lot. That is, considering there are a hundred and something issues and you shouldn't get repeats.
Other than that, if you really want to lower your taxes then you have to lower government spending. Hence, if you get an issue and someone is telling you the army need more money, and someone is telling you to cut the military budget, then you cut the budget. This is because NationStates is based on the sensible principle that, the less the government spends, the less it needs.

Depriving the poets of subsidies, abolishing minimum wage laws, stopping government from regulating TV, and denying the military of bombs are good for significant tax reduction. There are also a few others but they are only good for 1% reduction.
