Are there rules regarding writing one's country's history. I've been thinking about writing a history for my country. It would involve events from RL(like Roman settlers coming to the island NIR is located and English colonists coming in 1600s) history. Is it allowed?

There are no rules on how you envision your history. Heck, your people could be the by-product of internal combustion, if you wanted. It's all up to you.
