Question About "Puppet States"

Tried looking for references in various FAQs, but durn near every link I look at is a "File Not Found" so I just figured I'd ask here.

A while back, I started up a couple secondary nations just fer S&Gs, but now that they're turning out rather well, would it be within RP limits to have those two sub-nations set up as something akin to colonies/states of the primary nation?

I'm just curious, wanna be certain whether I'd get ignore-cannoned at the mere mention of a Sub-State or autonomous principality...

Thanks fer any help.

There is no problem setting them up as colonies or states. If you do it to increase your population or combine budgets, people will ignore it.

You can club together with your puppets to get money on special occasions, but they're best kept sperate.

Don't sign posts by your puppet nations!

Thats the only thing I know.

Oh, I wouldn't dream of that.

Too many people as it is pulling "Create an ally" crap.

The way I'd intended to rp the two sub-nations was as secondary principalities / provisional states as the original dominion expanded out into the surrounding islands... wherever said islands may be. I think I had to pull a little "AND THEN THERE WAS LAND" bit cuz the durn commies didn't take kindly to me trying to gank Kamchatka.

The way I do it, colonies can have defensive militaries but not offensive. All invading and such should be done with you "homeland's" military.

That's pretty much how I'd intended to work it anyway, so yippee!
