Just curious.... is there a way to find out who the largest nations are? It would be fun to know how far behind I am in population from the first NS players who stuck around.

Occaissonally the Rankings will be based on population. I think there are some with over 4 billion people, at least.

It's a UN ranking. You just have to wait until it comes up, it's a random cycle.

how do you build your population quicker? Someone said, that someone is the oldest, but not the biggest, how is that?

They likely died and then were revived. Your population doesn't grow when your dead, so when you are revived it will be smaller than it would have been if you did not die.

So the oldest player can still have a smaller pop. than a younger (never died) nation.

There used to be a bug in the game in which some nations grew at twice the speed of others. It was fixed a while ago.

Damn, so many memories on that history page.
I came in on v1.3, and haven't had any major bugs, only a few problems on the forums. I think I have been lucky.

The biggest nation was Josifovich, but he's dead now. He was very close to 5 billion last time I saw him. He wasn't the oldest though

Oh for craps sake! I'm .04 off from making that list.

One of my puppets has the popuation bug and my little known region of Snopesean Archipelago has the 48th and 29th largest nations.
