What is an Invader???

Come on, answer me this, there are definately two types of "invasions" however they are very very different,

The first is moving in, planning to take the delegacy, boot a few people, and then leave a couple of days later.

Then second is moving in, planning to keep the region. And make it great again.

In some instances i have tried to liberate a region, free it make it great again. Yet that is always seen as an invasion.

However sometimes, defender organisations, move into a region, then put a password on and leave it like that, just to keep the region safe, the natives are instructed to find themselves the password out, by electing a delegate. Isnt this a clear invasion? And even griefing?? Yet this is ignored by some as a defence, and definately not an invasion.

So can you please clear up, without being sarcastic - i know how stupid this thread sounds, but i know what i am saying doesnt have that clear an answer - what you, the moderators, would classify an invasion?

Invading and defending is the exact same thing in the eyes of the law. Any defender who puts a password on a region and does not telegram it to the natives will be deleted as quickly as an invader who does the same thing. If you know of any cases where this happens, file a report via Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/38187/page=help).

Yes, and I don't recall that ever happening, although I do remember a delay on a password distribution once because there were huge arguments about who was actually a native and who was not.

Puppets of invaders that don't leave a region after a first invasion are still considered non-natives in the event of a second invasion and ejection, if that's what you are referring to.

a noob

I actually know a lot of non-noobish invaders, and even some consistant law-abiding invaders. Most of those I call OOC friends. A lot of them are sensible and fun to battle, too.

However, invading does seem to call out to the noob in particular. lol
