I am asking a question. What whould happen if a Nation States World War happens? Some of us nations need to come together to try and never have this happen!

The Operation

There is no built in war system within the game, and only can be achieved via RolePlaying.

I'm not a huge RP'er so I suggest you post an OOC post in the "NationStates" forum if you wanna know how to go about it.

NE's right, especially in the fact that Gameplay is not used for RP discussion.

There've been loads of RP'd world wars but I think the mentality now is that the attempts at making another all suck. ;)

So then why couldn't we have a region-crashing world war? I realize that with most regions having founders, it'd be kind of hard, but there's still gotta be plenty of regions to fight over.

There has been... Maybe 17 Role Played World Wars on the NS Forums. And in my opinion, they were just overall very aweful.

There can be Regional World Wars, but there never has been. I suppose if two large alliances of regions clashed, it would be a World War (Such as ADN clashing with um... Someone else)

The great thing about Role Play is that it is fluid, so even if you end your story with the universe collapsing in on itself other people have just as much right to ignore you and carry on as normal.

Technically you could have a large war this way, but a world war? I doubt it. The majority of the worlds 111,722 nations would have to take part, and not all are into that, myself included. That would mean the majority of regions would have to take part, most with founders, and as you say, that just won't work.

Just let total anarchy reign over NS as invaders clash with defenders. And what ever regions are won are lost will be legal.

the days of the GDODAD world wars were fun... then again, everything that is good and right with the world like dissapeared within the second NS world war....

Then many players will quit the game cos of cheaters and players ruining it and griefers etc. Besides, everyone would password their regions.
