I'm not hugely keen on the UN, well at least on this nation. So I MIGHT send a puppet there, just to express my views ;)

You can choose to join the UN and abide by its rules to get access to the benefits (which largely consist of getting more votes on UN issues, if you are regional delegate), or you can choose NOT to join the UN...
If you're not in it, how does it affect you?
As for fighting against it -- unless you are speaking of RPing, there aren't any provisions for what you suggest, as far as I know.

Or, do what my friends and I did; instead of doing this anti-UN stuff by being in the UN, we all left and maded a UN-free region... But, policy has recently changed because we still want full control over the region.

Kat' - It doesn't affect you at all, and thats the point.
If you don't want others voting on how you run your nation, then the UN isn't for you, thats why I never sign up using this nation, only those who I don't do issues with.
