Yes! You read correctly! It said the Blobbing Lounge Ceiling. But how can you live on a ceiling? Feast your eyes upon this piece of literature and find out! Without further a dew, I present to you “Why move to the Blobbing Lounge Ceiling”

Move to the Blobbing Lounge Ceiling Today! Living on a ceiling of a room is a wondrous experience, and you will find your civilization is faced with unlimited opportunity to expand and develop technology! We Jilos have survived by living in Domes that are in modules that are attached to the ceiling, and it works.

The only downside of living on a ceiling is modules tend to be fragile. Strong wind conditions are frequent and can disrupt ship traffic and destroy enclosed walkways and Lowers (people of the ceiling call towers that descend from the ceiling Lowers)

Resources are scarce on the ceiling, and expansion can be slow, but if you make use of Jilo recycling technology you will find this obstacle is quickly over come. Once your civilization has established a good infrastructure base, resources and expansion will be only a small problem, and strong winds will only be a minor obstacle.

The Blobbing Lounge Ceiling is a crucial strategic position, as you will always have the high ground advantage. Many enemy invasions have been thwarted because of the difficulty of boarding a module while being attacked by anti-aircraft guns and fighters. Not to mention most civilizations do not have aircraft designed to invading modules attached to a ceiling. Fierce defense can also be made in such modules, as your people will know their terrain. They will know every ventilation shaft, hallway, dome, and elevator, making ambushes easy. Jilo militia armed with crude projectile weapons and cutting implements have managed to hold out against Blob Invasions for some time.

The ceiling is also home to many scientific anomalies. Some are dangerous and some are very beneficial. Many can recall the blast of 4501. A huge gust of wind out of nowhere came and destroyed many modules. The origins are unknown to this date. There are also frequent time anomalies, but these only really matter if you plan to travel into and out of the Blobbing Lounge, but why would you ever want to leave? Strange crystal growths and gravimetric anomalies have yielded valuable scientific knowledge thus far. Gravimetric anomalies are also very helpful. When traveling in such an anomaly, you will find that the ceiling becomes the floor!! BOOM! Building in such areas are easy, yet it retains all the advantages of everywhere else on the ceiling.

Also, the Blobbing Lounge Ceiling is the only place known to have Yttrium, a rare element with almost unlimited potential. It is required for the construction of neutronium bombs (along with neutronium) but such bombs are not recommended, as the blast radius can be unpredictable (Jilos have destroyed themselves while testing such weapons, but many believe more funding is the answer to making neutronium bombs more reliable) Yttrium also makes a great power source. Yttrium fuel cells are almost 100 times more efficient then hydrogen fuel cells. Yttrium based weapons can also be effective, but require a hefty maintenance cost. Yttrium research is very expensive, but that is the only known con.

The Wasteland below the ceiling is very mysterious and dangerous. Thugs, hooligans, craploids, and mutants run freely. It is said there are many lost technologies from the Ancient Jilo Empire (they were destroyed long ago. The survivors eventually became The Federation of the Jilos several hundred years later after a dark age)

But what about the morale of your people? Surly living in domes can be very uneasy and unsettling. WRONG!! When you hear dome, think of a bio dome, an enclosed environment where people can develop the land, just as if it were the surface of a planet. Jilos have 3 domes, Kilo-Dome, Mega-Dome, and Giga-Dome. The Kilo- Dome is 2 miles in diameter and is the most abundant in all the modules. The Mega-Dome is 20 miles in diameter, and the Giga-dome is a whopping 200 miles in diameter! All domes are interconnected by towers running up along the center, going up threw 100s, if not 1000s, of domes. There are also highways connecting domes together.

Although living in domes is fantastic, some Jilos prefer enclosed areas (mainly because of generations of living in such places) Just imagine what it would be like to live in a mall.

If you have any questions about living on The Blobbing Lounge Ceiling, feel free to post a reply. Infact, The Community of the Jilos encourages it. Also, if you absolutely must move to the ceiling, The Community of the Jilos will provide you with Ceiling Experts to get you started.
