The best thing you can do is read the FAQ. It should answer most (if not all) of your questions.

And that's fine and dandy; I was commenting to the suggestion that newcomers come to the general forum. There just seems to be a lot of stupid people there; mainly new ones...
Plus the original poster didn't leave much of an impression on me with his choice in emoticon use.
There is a difference between newb and n00b.
A newb (newbie) is basically just a harmless naive newcomer.
A n00b is an unwelcomed and disliked newcomer who acts really stupid, ignorant and like your all around-multi-purpose asshole.

Thx to all those that helped, those that just called me a n00b i could care less, and about the opening page thingy Kryo i just meant it as a joke no hard feelings plz. those of you who judge me because i started (as you all did once) your lives mean nothing to me... i could be a returning vet under a different name for all you know... or your best friend on some other game, so i just ask some general respect to anyone... it pretty simple. (xtra thx for the thread links they helped a lot) and i couldnt find the FAQ or maybe i just didnt look hard enough... i dunno. but thx

When you log in, and before you enter the Forums, check the side toolbar on the left side of the screen. That's where you can enter the forums, but there is also a link that says FAQ. It's below 'NEWS' and above 'ABOUT'. Click on that, and it should provide you with extra helpful info.
