I have created a formula for determining, if in a war with an enemy, would have a greater military strength (not factoring in the ability, intelligence, alliance[s], or resources of the actual player):
Every 20,000,000 people more than the opponent = +1%
Every level of economy higher than opponent = +1%
For example, let's say Nation X has 560,000,000 people, a "Powerhouse" economy, and ten percent of their economic focus rests in Defence (figure this out using the nationdata thing).
Now, say that Nation Y has 750,000,000 people, a "Fair" economy, and thirteen percent of their economic focus rests in Defence.
Since 750,000,000 - 560,000,000 = 190,000,000, and 190,000,000 divided by 20,000,000 = nine and a half, Nation Y adds nine and a half percent to his total, bringing it up to twenty-two percent. However, Nation X has five economy levels on Nation Y. This brings his total to fifteen percent. However, Nation Y is still stronger than Nation X.
If you think this is wrong, please submit any and all corrections that come to mind. If not, sticky it.
