Tags.
I'm getting sick of seeing them.
Blarrggghh.
Can we call for a moratorium on tagging. How about instead of tagging, you actually post something of worth. I imagine that it would be most disheartening for the people trying to run RPs to see them filled with essentially worthless 'tags'.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
For me, a tag is a way of indicating that you like a particular thread besides the usual means of marking it for easy access later. To me, it's an easy way to say, "I found something I like in your thread. I'm reading this and I might get involved later."

There is a better way on Jolt. Just Subscribe to the topic (Thread Tools / Subscribe to this Thread). Then you can go to your profile and click on the List Subscriptions (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription) link. All the benefits of tagging without bothering other posters.
You can also make your settings auto-subscribe to any topic you post in ... or turn that aspect off. Jolt is pretty flexible.
I don't understand the Jolt haters here. Anybody wanna 'splain what the issues are?
