How can I give my country more political freedom and civil rights? .___.'' because im like really really confused. ><;;
Civil Rights are personal freedoms. To raise it, giving in to requests to the citizens usually does the trick. For example, legalising drugs would increase your civil rights, but of course, you'll then have health and crime problems. A totalitarian government that outlaws just about everything will have low civil rights. One that allows just about everything will have extensive civil rights, but with that come other problems.
Political freedoms generally concern voting. Banning elections will kill your political freedoms. Fair and frequent elections will increase it's standing. Also, political activists and POW treatment (such as the "No Pain, No Gain!" issue, which deals with torture of a foreign terrorist), also affect political freedoms.
