Centralized Currency In Regions
:headbang: The thoughts of a Centralized Banking System in a region have been brought up in a couple of regions. So, I'd like input on what many think about it. It could help us all determine if it is what our regions need. There are all kinds of pros to the cetralized bank idea. A solid currency is one of many positives. On the other hand, what if that single currency should fail? So, I invite you to please vote on the poll. :gundge:
Wouldn't it be a bit hard to get everyone to agree on it, though? Especially those regions with loads of nations. Don't get me wrong... it's a good idea, but can it really work?

Our region, The Chemistry of 923, has a centralized currency: The Chemi, which fluctates in exchange rate per day.
All nations have the right to choose whether they use it, however, all nations trading with other nations within our region have to use it for their trades and then the currency of the Chemi is exchanged by their national banks to the currency of their choice.
It works well for us, as we have an active Sec. of Commerce to regulate and track its development.

Do you think it would be a good idea for a bunch of younger nations to band together and form a centralized bank so it won't be so complicated in the future?
Seems rather silly to me. I'm in Asia, currently 115 member nations, and I highly doubt that each and every one of us can agree on a centralized currency.
What about the Pacifics? 6000+ is even worse :)

It'd be very difficult to try to get everyone to agree one one solid type of cash. Too many opinions floating around...

Not really. If you have a solid backing of what you want to accomplish and do with that currency, it's quite easy to have 3/4 of your region approve it and put it into use. My region is a clear cut example of said statement.
