Our region isn't necessarily better than others, it all depends on what you're looking for.
Anyone who recruits indiscriminately is after prestige (for themselves) or cannon-fodder. It shouldn't be about that, it should be about helping people find a region that suits them. Now & then I'll send a TM if I spot a nation I warm to, on the grounds they'd probably like it in our region.

I recently moved to my new region: East Pacific.
I think it's the best because California is in East Pacific in the real world.
Now...seriously
I think the region is not important. What's important is that I have the greatest nation of all, because it surprisingly meets my beliefs and principles. It's a capitalist anarky :cool: :D yey
