When I first started to play here, I rad hte RULES.
There was pretty clearly stated that it is not allowed to have more than one nation for each player and that for many different reasons. And I do agree with that.
Now, how come I keep on reading on players that have more then one nation?
There is a thread here where you can go and write how many nations you have... isn't it a bit out of control?
What is the point with UN if the same player can vote for over 20 nations?
What is the point with regional agreement and controversy if a region is "owned" 90% from the same player?

Can anybody explain me?
thank you

Two or more nations, legal or not???
You can have as many nations as you like, but you may only have 1 nation in the UN at a given time. I suggest you to read the FAQ. http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/06448/page=faq#UN

If you have multiple UN-nations, you will get ejected from the UN (and banished from re-entering), and/or being deleted.

A long time ago there used to be a limit of four nations per player. That limitation has been dropped.

The limitation left now is that no player may control more than one UN nation. So when a player claims to have 25 nations, it is required for at least 24 of those to be non-UN nations.

When was there ever a limit? I don't recall that particular rule.

There wasn't really a limit to the number of nations, it was just a rumor or misunderstanding based on the way the rules were worded. When the wording was questioned, it was made clear that there were meant to be no limit to the number of nations, rather simply UN nations.

So, some nations thought there was a limit, but as I understand it there was no such limit.
