NationStates Jolt Archive

I wish to find out and discuss members views on the set-up of nationstates, older nations will remember what nationstates was like before this recent change. Personally I found the previous nationstates easier to use, generally better and more user friendly. Please post opinions below.

i think that nationstates was easier to use before this change as i actually knew where the serch button was and where to find the pine scented bar.
now adays it is harder to serch the forums and find the things you want.
but it looks cooler!

if you try to view a nation from a forum then it comes up with a public profile instead of the actual nation this means you have to go via world and find nation to T-gram them.

I prefer this one, but that's because I'm a long-standing regular at another VBulletin forum, so I'm not just used to it, it's what I've grown up with (metaphorically speaking... I'll never grow up :p). The old forum was slow, overly simple, and really pales in comparison to VBulletin. Comparing the two is like comparing one of those free Bravenet forums to Jolt. Or comparing a 1985 Skoda to a Jaguar XKR.

Oh by the way, unless you've been fiddling with the settings, your NS nation page should be your default homepage. Or at least, I thought it was :confused:

Wow, you mean you actually preferred never being able to log in, much less post?
