The Nations of the Democratic Left, or NDL, are a group of seriously-run nations who hold political freedom and civil rights in the highest regard. They have banded together in hopes of increasing their influence in international politics via the United Nations, and to protect themselves from totalitarian regimes. Admission to NDL requires that a nation hold progressive ideals and that their actions reflect them. Nations which do not fit these criteria will be promptly ejected. NDL encourages those nations who share similar goals to join.

I run a server, www.ruccas.org, where I will be able to setup a message board for UN-related debates, policy decisions, etc, if this takes off.

It's inter-regional and is used for RP, hosts some related organisation's forums, and also has a forum for debating and planning UN policy (past successes include the Rights of Labor Unions, 40 Hour Workweek, and Reduce Black Market Arms Sales).
