Taxes

Hey, fairly new nation here. I have a slight problem, my country's income tax rate is 54% and it seems to be rising. How do I get that to stop, and how do I lower the taxes so an uprising doesn't start? Any advice will be helpful.

Heh, you don't have to worry about an uprising. You can't lose control of your nation.

Taxes will go down if you decrease welfare, education, defense, basically any type of government spending.

Don't worry, I'm not worried about losing my country, just worried about how it will effect the economy and such. So now I'm just waiting for an issue concerning government spending to come. Thanks

Like UP said, basically whenever you get a new issue, try to pick the choice that involves cutting government spending. If all the choices seem to favor increased spending (I'm sure if there are issues like that, but in theory), dismiss the issue.

Oooooo, I never considered dismissing issues before. Thanks for the tip RB.
I hope this all works.

vote for cuts and watch your spending on social programs and if an issue does not have a good spending choice which they usually do, dismiss it. I can usually decide on an issue and must make the right decisions as I never have had taxes and am among the top 10% of lowest taxed nations I also have a damn strong economy- be pro business for that. Small limited government, good economics equal a damn fine country!
