I've been looking at the NationStates Political Map (http://alces.sel.uaf.edu/gregg/ns/nsmap.html) and have a question. Does a libertarian economy make a good, strong economy? And on the other side, does an authoritarian economy make a weak economy, with centrist being moderate? Thanks.

Generally, although your economy can also be affected by other things such as the amount of money you give it and stuff.

Though it is possible to have a totally left wing economy and come out with the strongest possible rating. Like me :D

The thing is, economic freedom (libertarian, centrist, authoritarian) isnt' the same as economy (Frightening, all consuming, powerhouse, basket case etc), and you can max out you economy either by allowing buisness to run the board, or by going down a corporate welfare route.

More economic freedom = better economy, generally. Unless you subscribe to communist type control freak dogma and believe in "prosperity through bureacracy."
