North Pacific invaded

A few minutes ago this was typed on TNP civil HQ:

THE NPO HAS TAKEN OVER NORTH PACIFIC (not THE North Pacific, obviously)!!!!! IF YOU CAN MUSTER IT, SEND AID QUICKLY. THE NATIVES CANNOT LAST MUCH LONGER! EVOYYEP, THE USURPER HAS DECLARED THAT HE WILL ONLY LEAVE WHEN NORTH PACIFIC HAS SENT 40 NATIONS TO "THE NEW WORLD EMPIRE"! A DANGEROUS INVADER REGION. SEND HELP!!!

I've had a quick scan and it does appear that a group of invaders have usurped power and are holding nations as hostages there.

It appears that there is only two hours before the invaders become permanent. If aid is to be sent it must be sent soon.

Can any nation aid this region? At least 10 defenders need to enter North PAcific and endorse Unelion. Thank you, hopefully the North Pacific's freedoms will be saved.

What surprises me is the entry concerning the ADN and EAA, unless of course it's a lie by the delegate, which is plausible.

25 minutes ago The Principality of Evoyyep Invaders from the north pacific are kicked out - the password is up -

Only 3 natives have been kicked out and one, unelion, is welcome back after the update

If what he says is true, he is breaking griefing rules.

Nadejda- You'd be surprised.

its only griefing if the password isn't given out to the natives, you are allowed to kick out a small percentage of natives so i don't think that banning three people would count as griefing either.

On Behalf of the EAA, I will make an emergency interrim statement.

The EAA was never aware of the situation in North Pacific, no telegrams were sent or messages posted on our boards, we prepared no Telegrams, or corrsepondence of any kind. We would have acted quickly to secure the region and it's native delegate. I pride myself on being a good EAA Officer, and believe me, when I say this with the highest amount of conviction, and sincerity possible.

We will take it back. Operations, strategies and intel gathering are underway. Passwords, longtime native contacts are currrently being secured. A RED alert may be issued soon, and allies will be called in. Lies spread through the region are tactics of disinformation. Believe me, the delegate is not saying anything with the natives interests at heart.

"The North Pacific Forum is censored at the present time" does not hold well with the EAA, or the natives, and will not be appreciated by anyone in Nationstates.

Incorrect on two counts.

First: 17 natives were ejected, not 3. Given the number of natives that were probably in the region before this, this may be acceptable. (There are 177 nations now.)

Second: Ejecting a native and keeing the native out is griefing. Any native. All natives must be removed from the banlist immediately.

The revised invasion rules are still being discussed and are not yet in effect.

Evoyyep: By ejecting natives without removing them from the banlist, you are in violation of the invasion rules. Remove all natives from the banlist immediately or you will be deleted.

As a temporary member of the region, NP (North Pacific) the unofficial Delegate Unelion has requested that I transmit this request for immediate aid to the region North Pacific.

As many of you know this region was invaded a short time ago by a group of experienced region-crashers. The invaders were successful but their 'Delegate' was ousted. This has created a power vacuum within the region. The natives there are desperately trying to get a nation that they have chosen to be Delegate (Unelion) in power. The invaders have sworn vengeance and they are attempting to get their leader into power so he can continue his reign of terror. (Nations taken as hostages, region password protected etc)

The nation NP needs as many nations as possible to enter the region and endorse the nation they have chosen to ensure that he becomes Delegate. This is an urgent request; it is uncertain whether the natives of the NP will be able to defend themselves against the invaders.

I, and the region of North Pacific await your reply, and hopefully your assistance.

*not THE North Pacific, just North Pacific

Please can all nations who are available with UN membership enter the region North Pacific and endorse Unelion. The entire region's freedom is on a knife edge.

No doubt many of you have high endorsement counts that would be a great loss if they were gone. But I ask you, no I go further, I beg that any willing nations with UN membership enter the region North Pacific and endorse Unelion. There are pitifully few endorsements separating the chosen Delegate and the invaders, so small that 4 or 5 nations could make all the difference.

An entire region, over 200 nations homes, is close to being destroyed. I beg that all those who can do everything they can to stop this and allow a region to live once again.

geez, sorry, i didn't know. I got two warnings too, sent to me at 5am my time. I was asleep then. I responded as soon as I woke up this morning.

How about informing me of this thread instead of talking about me behind my back!!?

Invaders are about to attack the region North Pacific! These invaders are aiming to destroy the NP’s freedoms and democracy. They want to do away with the native’s Delegate. They are led by a usurping dictator whom, among other things, enjoys taking nations as ‘hostages’.

The region North Pacific will resist them, but we need help to repel these invaders. We are in dire need of defenders! Help us if you want to see selfish invaders pushed back, help us if you want to see a small region triumph against the odds.

Help us if you want freedom to reign in the North Pacific region.

We need nations to join North Pacific and endorse Unelion, our native Delegate. Help us level the playing fields.

Okay, I've reread this topic and realized that I was abnormally cross at Evoyyep*. No official judgements have been changed, but I apologize to Evoyyep for my tone-of-voice.

* I really shouldn't moderate when I haven't had enough sleep.
