Nova Região

Santo Nunca
28-07-2004, 02:58
É sem dúvida uma revolução aqui nas Nações Unidas.
Pela primeira vez uma nação não fala inglês. E como tal eu e os meus compatriotas de São Nunca decidiram criar uma região para nações como São Nunca.

Portanto se todos aqueles se identificam com a Região d' O Mundo Lusofono... já sabe o que fazer.

Sejam bem vindos.

Now, I don't know much, if any Spanish, which I what I * think * it might be, but my 7th sense ( The 6th one picks up B.S. ) detects region pimping on the U.N. Forum. Kindly limit such activities to ... game-play forum, if you would be so kind.

I'll report this judging on what an online translator has to say.

EDIT :

* Bless Babel Fish, bless, and its actually in Portugeuse, my bad.

Translation :

New Region Is without a doubt a revolution in the Joined Nations here. A nation does not say English for the first time. E as such I and my compatriots of Is Nunca had decided to create a region for nations as They are Nunca. Therefore if all those if identify with the Region d' The Lusofono World... already knows what to make. Well they are come.

Well, its not a wonderful translation, but, " meh ", does the job.

Well, the translation seems to imply that this 'Nova Região' is for non-english speakers (which may make communication a bit difficult since everyone will be speaking different languages, but that's beside the point). And you've violated its sanctity - in a sense - by translating the post into english :p

I think hilarity will ensue when speakers of other languages are forced to translate the english translation into their own language via babelfish.

* ( pokes out tongue at you all )

In my defence, I did four straight years of french class (finished up with it two years ago), and can still just remember how to count out to ten. And say hello. Oh, and shut up, but I can't actually spell that one. As much as I may wish to do so right now ... ;)

Ahem, so in plain old english, " nyah nyah nyah " :D
